Welcome to the Geneva Comprehensive Plan Website!

Geneva is a community with a lot to be proud of. A vibrant downtown, the Fox River, tree-lined neighborhoods, and a long tradition of civic engagement. Now, we're looking ahead.

This website is your home base for Geneva's Comprehensive Plan update, a community-wide effort to shape how the city grows and evolves over the next decade and beyond. Whether you've lived here your whole life or just moved in, your perspective matters. We want to hear from you, and we want to make it easy for you to stay informed and get involved every step of the way.

The Comprehensive Plan: A Compass for Geneva’s Future

A Comprehensive Plan is a city's long-term vision for the future. It's a guiding document that helps elected officials, city staff, and community members make informed decisions about how Geneva grows, changes, and stays true to what makes it a great place to live, work, and visit.

The plan covers the big picture: housing, transportation, economic development, parks, and land use. It sets goals and policies to help the city get where it wants to go. It's not a set of hard rules, but rather a shared agreement about what Geneva values and where it's headed.

Like a compass, this document will point Geneva in the right direction, guided by the voice of its residents and stakeholders.
